Anyone have any experience with these? I saw an ad in one of the magazines and kinda like the look as well as the EZ way they programme.

I just received a set of TPI Tech Gauges, who also make the Daytone.  I chose them because the TPI name on the Gauge faces is smaller than the Daytona with the Flags.  Also the TPI and Daytona have the MPH every 10 instead of 20 like others.  I got the gold Bezels with the parchment background with red Needles and have mounted them on a piece of Mesquite for a dash in my '27 Roadster...They sure look good.  If I could figure out how to post a picture on here I would send a Pic....

aren't these the ones where the mount consists of a plastic cup that's held in place by the same nuts that hold the wires on the back?

I wouldn't recommend these UNLESS you get a set of extra nuts to hold the wires on the gauge.

i.e put the wires through the plastic cup and SECURE them to the studs THEN slip the cup over the gauge and mount it to the dash.

Why?......because the plastic moves/flexes and the nuts will loosen up and you'll wind up with loose connections and intermittent instruments.

Been there, done that.

Couldn't convince the custome to buy real instruments, either.  They'd cost too much.
