Most people have a higher than average number of legs.

Thanks Jim.  I try to stay away from work that requires that much force but it's a really good idea.  It can be used for a 90 degree drive too, where lack of space is an issue.

We used to have scrap hoppers full of slack adjusters when we did R&D for our truck brake division.

any chance getting a couple of the adjusters this way?

it would save me have to search them out.

Our parent company sold that division a few years ago and we don't do brakes anymore.  I do still know guys in their engineering lab tho.   It's nearby and there's a possibility I can scrounge some.

thanks george! don't go out of your for them, they'll prolly just sit on the workbench for a while till i got around to putting them together.
