Weekend progress

I painted the doors for the first time and the cab for number 2. The paint shop is closed now and the finish shop open. I hope I don't scratch this stuff putting it together. The paint work isn't good but it's good enough for me to quit and drive the truck. Because it's a highboy, I doubt that it will look good more than twice around the block.  I pulled the starter off the Dakota today. The solenoid has been working sporadically. Thought I might have to walk a few times since this started last saturday. I found a repair kit on Advance auto parts website the had the contacts and the plunger for the solenoid for $13. I ordered 2. I'm back in business again. The contacts were almost wore through. I do alot of stop and go. I probably start this truck 15 times a day. I got a flat tire on the back of the bike to fix and I'm done for the day. I'm going to let the painted parts sit for a few days before I abuse them.
