one of the things I need is a neutral safety switch.

anybody have any suggestions?
I was lookin' at a regular GM switch from the mid 70's. I'm gonna hafta fab up a bracket anyway, so what do y'all use :?:

I think I can wire it up OK, I have the wiring already, just need to quit bein' lazy and do it

Thanks

I suggest you make it function in NEUTRAL and in PARK.
.....From the look of the Lokar switch in Fat Cat's link, it appears to only activate the switch in one position.

Why both? I have done a similiar set up previously and only used park. Worked fine. Educate me as to why both is better.

Because if your engine stalls while moving, you don't want to jam it in park to start it. Locar does have a switch that will start in both, the actuator is V shaped, and has two tabs.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

by the way ... the single tip switch cam was just for the reverse lites..
the proper kit is here..
they also have a slide type that will control a N/S,BU/L relay and a dash indicator PRNDL.
