Not a prototype but a one off show car, built in Aussie by the GMH factory on a Corvette chassis but designed to look like a modern day version of a 1953 Holden (General Motors Holden).

The Effigy was sitting in a hallway in the G.M. design center when i went there a few weeks ago. the car is awsome, and i hate that word, but it applies here. If this had been done with the new G.T.O. drivetrain and sold to the public i woulda hocked the house to get one. The lines are so close to a '40's G.M. car, very rounded, voulupuis (sp) if I may say that.  
I asked the guy that invited us to the design center why they wouldn't produce something like this and he said that was a good question.
