I have to reinstall the windshield in my 47 ford coupe after paint. The only gasket I can come up with has to be cut to length and glued together at the joint. Drake lists a ready made gasket but no longer carries it . Is there anything better than 3m weatherstrip adhesive to hold the ends together? I'm sure many of you  have seen poorly cut & joined gaskets & they look like #$&^%@#.Thanks!!

I have been cutting the gasket very carefully, and gluing it with super glue.

Works for me too...You need a Super sharp razor blade to get a straight --clean cut.....

I bought a gasket from Midwest Early Ford, cut the center piece out
and v-butt. Installed in my '48. Worked perfect, no leaks.

If you dealt with Carpenter you would get a single piece that you cut to the length you need so there's only one seam. It's the same molding as stock just no center
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.
