Tony, in your opinion, was the transmission abused, or is the trans just not capable of handling the torque the s/c added?

How does the 4L65E compare to the 4L60E?  .....Is the later stuff cheaper/weaker?

People just don't realize what a super charger can do to a system.  My experience is with marine diesel engines.  The naturally aspirated engines can go 10,000 hours between overhauls with proper maintenance.  The super charged ones often don't make 2,000 hours.  You get a lot of shocked boat owners at $2,000 a cylinder for an overhaul!   :wink:
