Column shift on a F100 power steering conversion

The F100 I just installed a Toyota power steering box in, it still has the original three on the tree, and he wanted to keep it. By using a couple at the bottom of the shaft, instead of a Ujoint, and installing a Delrin bushing recessed into the bottom of the column, and some reshaping of the shift levers on the column, I got it all to fit in.

The engine is a 223 six, and I was unable to find any stock pump brackets for it. So I built a bracket that moves the generator up several inches, that allowed room for the pump under it. I the fabricated an adjustable mount for an Escort pump to fit my bracket. A Lincoln pump pulley, and a 2000CC Pinto crank pulley, and we were in business.

You need to post on the 61-66 truck groups about your conversion as quite a few have been wanting p/s on their straight axle trucks,I have a 66 with the twin I beams so I can use 67 to 79 stuff and it bolts on

Nice looking job Frank. I wish you lived a little closer, I'd hire you to do it to mine too.

On second thought, maybe not. If it had power steering, then my wife would want to drive it ...
