The 59 Rambler Wagon comes home, after a year

Yup, the beast is coming home. Finally got the rear end welded in, just the arms, needs to be cut out and done correctly. I got to the point with the whole situation where all I wanted was the car ROLLABLE so I could tow it out, and the flatbed comes tomorrow.  Just plan to park it, and collect the parts slowly that I need, and try and save up to get a fabricator to do it right (box in the rear with square tube, so I have decent mountings for the 4 link GM 10 bolt rearend thats in there). Lol..anyone looking for a good project car? (laughs) thats the last resort, this car is going to be a long project, but I think it will be worth it. Since I'm looking at it LONGTERM (1-2 more years max) i was thinking of ditching the column shifter, and putting in a 350-454 GM V8, TH350 or equivilant (whatever is easiest..the OD on the 700 (camaros) would be nice..).  I can do all the body and interior work while I decide and find. Thanks for ALL the awesome advice the past year, I'm still here and will be so.

In other news, picked up a 1968 AMC Kaiser Jeep J3000 4x4, 4.11s, AMC 327. Awesome. Until the starter died tonight while moving it to make room for the Rambler

Got my new door windows last week so now I can put the door back togther........  It's gett'n there
