Can anyone tell what width ofa diff they are using on either their 32 or Model A?
I can't remember what the diff. width was on my 32 and I'd like to get the quickchange ordered for my 29.
It appears that my A is 42 1/2 wide at the bottom of the wheelwells where the 32 was 40 1/2
A flange to flange spec. would be great Thanks
Jeff

70-71 maverick or comet 8 inch is perfect with a 3 1/2 back space wheel. I can measure the one in the 32 tonite but i can prolly only get you a bakcing plate to backing plate dimension. I DONT THINK AT THE MOMENT I CAN GET IT OUT FAR ENUFF FROM THE WALL TO PULL BOTH WHEELS BUT I CAN TRY... caps lock again I sure dont know why i dont have that dimension on paper  :!: Search the web and someone should have measurements on em.

Never mind try this

no you don't have to do that Dave.
I'm positive I had a Grenada diff. which measures out at 58  according to your chart
It fit perfectly with 3 1/2 backspacing.
So I'm thinking that if I get the quickchange 60  (to make up for the wider frame) then I should be very close to the ballpark

you can find the info here too, http://enjenjo.com/9inch.html  which is where most of that was copied.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Charlie Chops 1940

Generally 56-57" total width seems to be best for 32's. I have a 55" in the current buil and it will require back spacing down around 3" which is pretty shallow.
