That is strange. I posted on 3 different topic and none of the text went.
The chart that was posted is very close to my 35 Chevy.
1700# on the front and 1740 on the rear. It has a BBC and A/C.

I must have typed in the File comment box............

Fwiw - the gal running the NHRA scales couple of March Meets back was kind enough to weigh my 32 late in the afternoon when things were quiet.

455 Buick engine - bout 15# heavier than an SBC, T-400, 9" Ford rear, slot mags, Mustang disc brakes up front, Merc wagon drums out back, SuperBell axle, Walkers biggest radiator, heater, top, 4-point roll bar, couple of small tool boxes and a few spare parts, 12 gallons of gas and a gassser style rear bumper.

2400# without driver.

Little Brothers drag racing Henry J weighed the same on these scales as it did on other scales at other dragstrips so it's probably a good figure for my 32.

I've read several times that the 32's like mine with no top or roll bar, but running a T-350 & SBC come in at 2300# or so.

I watched an Alston drag roadster - 27 T, stylized glass body and tube frame get weighed.
455 Old, T-400, 9" Ford rear axle, safety gear etc. = 1700 + #.

No small wonder he was cranking mid 9's with a mild engine.
