Is the transmission running HOT?

This photo shows a melted pickup tube from a t-400 next to a new pick up tube..... the fellow had his cooler line hose kinked.

The t-400 got really hot!!

this true........ cept in my world folks seem to think the 'warranty' covers all .

I could post photos of a recent new tranny return... case broken at a bolt on the bell housing.  The pump is broken too.  All this from a 'mis install' of the converter. The customer bolted the trans up to the engine thinking(LOL) the bolts would draw the tranny case to the engine block.

It was 'our fault' for not having instructions with the trans for install..

KRIPES ........ Most folks do not even find the rubber sealing sleeves and O-rings we tape to each tranny for the TV cable and filler tube!  They call and ask for them...... so then we tell them to look in the tranny package

Luckily, nobody has tried the "warranty" thing with me :lol:
usually by the time they need my help, they figger the warranty is out anyway :shock:

I don't do tranny work.........Crosley does.

I'm a Paramedic, and a Respiratory Therapist. I work with red fluid, but it don't come in bottles with twist caps :shock:

Depends on how you classify "cold" :?

32 degrees with a North wind at 20-25 MPH :shock:

personally, I classify it at "butt cold" :lol:

but them Michigan boys would call me a wussy :P
