At the Goodguys event this weekend I bought some new straps for my car trailer.

the straps I had were near 15 yrs old.

I bought a Mac's strap kit.  Ratchet straps with the axle wrap attached to the strap.... same design I used for many years.

YMMV

I use the axle straps too. I prefer them to the wheel straps.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Me too. I like the idea of tying it down by the axles, saw a stock car come off a trailer at about 40 mph one evening, he had the wheel straps, but I guess they weren't attached properly

made one mell of a hess on Loop 335 for about an hour

I've looked around at other straps , never bought them.

For what ever reason , at the Goodguys event I looked at these.  The gal was very helpful , spread one strap out with no axle strap , one with axle strap.

So I bought a set of 4 straps with carry bag.

I offered my old stuff to a friend, he took em.

Now to fix the air dam on my trailer.
