I'm chasing down rear steer R&P options too for my `54 Jag build. There was a thread on here that mentioned using an R&P unit from Intrepid, Concorde and the like. They're center section travel like Cavalier but maybe better suited for heavier vehicles.
Peaked my curiosity for my 2 tonner.
