Jim Downs,long time Rodder and owner of Downs Manufacturing has passed away. His son and the employees built a special street rod casket the Kalamazoo Gazette story can be found here.

Sad, and yet such a touching story that his Son and others thought so much of him to build that final resting place for him. Class act right up to the end.

I remember when us young rodders used to go to the old Ormond Beach Antique meet and scarf up parts.  We would comment on how old those Antiquer guys were....Well gang, guess what!
