I looked at a Toyota Camry 2007 hybrid car last week. Co-worker bought one.

Full electric a/c compressor looks interesting... could be adapted to a street rod with minimum fuss I would think. Remote mount a/c any where on the car it would seem

wonder what voltage they run on (the compressor)?
they say you CAN get hurt with some of the hybred voltages.....
i've only drove 2 prius's and worked on one (and it was a blower control prob)
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it\'s still on my list

voltage could be high as you are wondering.  I would wonder what amount of power / electric motor size it takes to run the compressor.  The elec  compressor is a small one

mayb Carps can offer an eggsplanation
