I've had a few super charged cars.


took a co-worker ( not a car guy) for a ride  in first super charged sbc  69 Camaro in 1981...

I rolled on the throttle easy in 1st, lifted to close the secondaries of the carbs down for 1-2 shift.. throttled it back up real hard then lifted for 3rd gear.

he looks at me and says " I guess it is fast"  , when I told him we were doing 110 mph , then he almost crapped his pants.

My yellow big block Camaro pulled over 900 hp on an engine  dyno. we were pushing the air in at 18# of boost.

It was a very technical job in a seamstress shop. The ladies would come in and special order some of those fancy frilly undergarments, and when the goods were done being made, Fatcat would look at the ladies picture, stretch the panties over his head and say "Yep. Deisel fitter."
