In addition to figuring out my brake and gas pedal placement so I can get my stainless firewall made, I decided to make some inner fender panels. I had my favorite sheet metal shop make me two of these. I had the metal for one, he provided the other. They are 18 gauge with a bead rolled down the middle. He charged me $5 for both. I made some brackets out of 1" square tubing. The front bracket will hold my cruise control module. I figure the inner fender will keep water and mud out of the back of the fender, and also prevent some little rock dents in the fender. Took me longer than I figured to get this done, but now the other side should go quicker.
