i ordered and received my ECI big brake kit, looks to be a nice set up. in the instruction it states

"NOTE: USER MUST SUPPLY STOCK FORD UPPER CALIPER CRADLE MOUNTING BOLTS ON ALL MUSTANG II / PINTO KITS"

is this really necessary?

if so what other ford models uses a similar bolt? i know that ford wouldn't make a special bolt for just one model of car.

thanks jim
Most people have a higher than average number of legs.

Just about any rear drive Ford up to 80 or so used the same bolt.
