This TH350 is killing me

Now I ripped 2 seals trying to put the piston back in the direct clutch.

Are there any tricks to getting these things back together with new seals?

Back to the "Transmission House" tomorrow for more parts.

which seal are you cutting?

The smallest one in the middle first, then I replaced that one and then I cut the big one.  

you know the direct seal is smaller on the outter diameter than the forward drum? I'm not following you here.

I use STP and trany fluid mixed for assembly lube.  I was using Vaseline.

I use a tool box drawer removal  tool to slip the seals into the drums.  Sand the sharp edges on the tool  a bit to smooth them
