i'm lookin for a steering wheel for my 53 chevy sedan. i want one that looks at home in an older car, but i don't want the large size of the original. i was lookin at the 55 thru 60 chevy smaller remakes but i don't like the fact they are made in china.  i don't have a column yet so that won't limit me in my choice. any suggestions?

I just read a magazine article in Chevy Rumble about putting smaller steering wheels in '55-'57 Chevies using a $20 adapter and a modern tilt column.  I don't recall all the details, because its not the part I was interested in, but they talked about '55 to '57 looking wheels that are 15 inches instead of the stock 17 or 18 or whatever the stock wheel is.

I want to put my stock '55 GMC wheel on a modern tilt column, and that is the part I was paying attention to.  The vender for the adapter and wheels was Classic Chevy which I think is www.classicchevy.com.
