I know a guy who had a similar failure on his engine dyno,
sprayed hot oil all over the shops main fuse panel.

When I see that in my line of work, its bad, REALLY BAD :!:  :!:

was the case cracked prior to the dyno, or did it
happen oo the dyno?

I cracked a T-350 case in half in a stock car. too much torque?

the tranny case was probably cracked before it was built and run on the dyno.

usually that is a result of chassis flex and the tranny mounted tooo rigid
