Anyone ever build an electronic t/signal system? One that uses a variable timer maybe, instead of a regular flasher .... Speedway Motors sells( $100) solid state type module , but I figure somebody knows how to use readily available components (timers, relays, momentary switches,etc)...I'm sure some electronic "geek" could go to RadioShack or so ,and gather up all thats needed... I can't use a regular column mounted type switch in my TrackT , so I'm looking for ideas...Any plans ,schematics, material lists appreciated.... Thanks ,  Stan

BTW: I did a search for "electronic turn signals"& WZ Junk posted a pic of just the right system back in Dec 04 , but no specifics and I've PM'd him for details
Hotrodding is a chronic sickness, eased only by exposure to the smell of hot oil, burnt racegas, loud exhausts and followed by periods of rest on a creeper underneath  some form of engine powered vehicle.

I'll dig out the diagram I have somewhere.

This was a diagram posted some time ago by Skip Readio, don't remember where or when.

Now if someone knew of a source of timed relays with different length release periods or some other way to latch the circuits ---

Here's a link to a inexpensive timer

This can be used to shut it off after a preset interval. With this timer you need a momentary switch to start the cycle. I think two timers would be necessary to make both side work properly.

Great site, if I study it enough, I may even start to understand what he is talking about.  A couple of the other articles show timer circuits that might apply also.
