I got my A/C hose kit, and along with the tranny cooling lines and wiring, I'm trying to finf room for everything. I'm thinking about running the power steering hoses from the box around in front of the radiator over to the passenger side where the LT1 pump is located. Maybe this is a dumb question, but is that OK to do or a bad idea? I don't know if I should be worried about disrupting flow to the radiator, or rocks hitting the hose, or? If I put them in front, it cleans things up a bit in the engine compartment, and will leave more room for the other things.

Thanks,

I don't see that it would be a problem, as long as you keep them low enough to not disrupt air flow.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Would you also need to add more fluid to allow
for the extra hose?

in Respiratory care, we call it "dead space".
that part of the ventilator circuit that does not "actively" participate
in air exchange. seems like the extra hose would in effect
be dead space. or am I overthinking again.  :?

Not quite the same.  In the respirator the gas is going through an alternating charge/discharge motion and not all is purged in each cycle.

In the power steering it is closed loop.

Now a question for you, do you use Entonox.

I would think the added capacity would aid in cooling the fluid. There is a P/S cooler on my old Cadillac mounted ahead of the radiator support....works great.

Nope, have read about it, would like to see it used
in a clinical setting.

have used HeliOx. 70-30 mixture.
worked great on an asthmatic kiddo.  8)

I'm guessing you have a Respiratory background, that was a
great answer. guess I was overthinking.

Actually that is a little further south than a Respiratory Therapist normally deal with, however you did mention he is Ozzy, and those blokes are a bit quirky.    :)

Hey, you guys I don't have to come here to be insulted....
........there are plenty of places on this side of the world I can go to for that.

Not directly.   I had an engineering business which made medical equipment as a sideline.  We developed and manufactured the fittings for Entonox gear.

Entonox is appealing because it can be easily administered at an accident scene giving the injured person immediate pain relief.   On arrival at the hospital a few puffs of pure Oxy will flush it out of the system allowing a more reliable assessment than if the patient is under the lingering influence of IV medication.
