a thought about our efforts

I saw this quote on the LSR board and I thought it was pretty good.  It applies to a lot of things we do and it really hits home for Land Speed Racing.

You're right John, those words can apply to most everything we do.  There is satisfaction even in failing if we made a decision,  applied effort, and learned from our mistakes.  

There is huge satisfaction when "a plan comes together" but when we sit by the sidelines and don't make decisions or exercise effort, we just sort of exist....without the wonderful feeling of fulfillment. :D

I'm a procrastinator with some things but even while I'm procrastinating I'm busy with something else.
