I am in the process of taking the Mustang II A arms out and replacing the stock originals with tubular arms. When I removed the Carrera coil over shocks there is a piece of aluminum(?) or something that is stuck in the "hat" where the shock bolts. Along with this part I am having difficulty removing the upper rubber bump stop. Do these need to be removed and replaced?
