Ford Yblock record

Was in Columbus OH on the weekend with a friend in his 56 Ford,running a Yblock 292. At the Newark drag strip, they had the YBlock shootout for any vehicle powered by a Yblock Ford engine. In attendance was a rear engined rail running a 346 Yblock which set a new world record for ET. It ran a 8.15, which dropped the 25+ year record by over a full second, and didn't make a full power pass. He couldn't continue because of an oil leak at the valley cover. Really impressive!!
