Thanks for the help guys!

Bib, there is another version of manifold with the air stuff on it, or at least it looks like it.  Its found on 88-95 3/4 ton pickups w/o air manifold,350's!

I got a phone call in to a guy down the street that has a LT1 but he's not home yet.

Enjenjo' right about the welding.  I did one very similar, cut and angled the outlet on a rams horn,  back in the early eighties.  Ran it hard for 5-6 years and then switched to a big block.  Finally threw away the old cut manifold and it still was sound.  A buddy welded it with what he called nickel rod,  but same as what Enjenjo says.  Looked ok too.
