Does anyone have experience using the unit from Speedway Motors??  This is my first install and although I want to save some money I do not wish to have  a bunch of extra work that would come with an unfriendly kit.   :?:

Thanks in advance,
Larry

I have not used a Speedway kit, but having installed a bunch of kits from many sources, the instructions are probably below par. For info purposes, the Speedway kits are made off shore. The instructions seem to be the biggest problem with any of the kits.

I have used Speedway control arms, they seem top work fine, and have held up good.

I have used many other parts from Speedway, and have been happy with them
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

I put a Fatman under my 40 Ford. Had to grind the heck out of it to get the right angles.
Put a Heidt's cross member under a fiends 37 Chevy. It was set up MUCH better than the fat guys. All of the angles where already manufactured in. Didn't have to grind anything, just line it up and weld.
Havn't seen a Speedway cross member but I'd vote aganst Fatman and for Heidt's.
