I need to know if Moog p/n 8556 or TRW CS8556 Mustang II front springs will work for my '39 chevy.  They are supposed to be for 4 and 6 cylinder MIIs w/air.

Thanks, Don

That is the number I used on my 47 Chevy, I cut 1/2 coil to get it to set where I wanted it.

Hey Frank, are these springs stiffer than the stock MII / Pinto
springs?

My right front spring seems a little soft, under braking and
left cornering, the right front fender rubs my tire.

springs came outta the donor Pinto my front end stuff
came from.

Thanks

Vance

probably. It's almost sure if your old ones have some miles on them, the stockers don't last that long without sagging.
