Yes the taillights are lexus I bought a smashed into boot to rescue the lights

Then I poured the hole on one side with silicon to make a male plug

Then I glassed it all over to make taillight buckets it never occured to me that they would be diff so I only did one side so I had to slice one in half and turn the rear part and glass it back together

Then I cut some holes in my new body ( read trepidation) and glassed them in it was relatively simple

Simon, I'm continually amazed at the work you're doing on this car on your own, in a place where 1-800-HOT-RODS doesn't exist.  I've enjoyed watching every aspect of construction that you've shared.

Thanks for the info. I've been looking at the irregular style inboard ones for a while and noticed those recently as being more desirable. Kind of 48 Pontiac style with that modern appeal.
I've currently got slits which just don't get the job done and need an upgrade............Frank
