D'oh. Yeah well you were talking about bell to block, not swapping bells on cases.

Now I've read that right I can tell you you're not alone. A friend did the same thing, 'cept I warned him but I don't think he believed me, but he found out! Well he then went and paid more to get an aluminium adapter machined up - to suit the fancy gear reduction starter of course.

That also appliies to the er...um...8 3/4" ( mustang ?) diffs......I don't have a filler hole in the diff thats in the 34. I filled it up via the axel holes.
