Fired to coupe for the first time tonight  :D  :D

took a little doing, guess the fuel pump decided to lay down after sitting for 4 years  :?

after a quick trip to O'Reilly's for a life-time warranty one, BINGO!!  :)
she fired right up.  Love the smell of fresh headers, and the sound of open headers inside a metal shop

only had one small leak, how lucky is that.
elect. fan comes on and keeps her at 180 degrees.

This is cool!

hopefully by this time tomorrow we will have made a trip or two around the block  :-o

sorry to sound like a sugared-up 5 year old, but I'm pretty stoked  :D

There is nothing like that feeling; drink deep!

What could possibly be wrong with open headers. Just enough cam to be lumpy. How about a light flywheel so it sounds like a full race anything.  A guy at breakfast asked me if I had a collection of tickets for speeding. My reply was, " no, just for no mufflers". Love the sound. Standing in the shutdown area at the strip, listening to blown alky cars coming down, hearing the blower scream, hard to beat.  What's not to be enthused about?
