Pretty heavy duty looking for a grand total of $61.00.  Don't have a tape measure handy, but the tubing looks like 3/16" and the Flange is 5/16" or 3/8".

I had already bid on them before I saw your Replys about Plugwires and ended up winning the auction. I guess i'll try them for fit and if they won't work I'll put them right back on ebay...

Sean, they'll probably work out fine if you have straight plug heads. I use Taylor silicone plug wires and you can see that they're pretty close to the tubes and I've never had one burn in 65,000 miles.  My headers are for angle plug heads so the tubes go into the collector the opposite of yours.

I see yours have flat collector flanges.  I had a heck of a time getting mine to stop leaking with the paper type gaskets.  I use copper now and they're ok.  I put a little Hi temp copper RTV on them too.

I use the same wires pplpckup does,
To this point, I have not burned a wire.

I had use all 90's. The straight boots that I had were too long and lay right up against the bottom of the outer tubes. The Huggers cleared the frame a lot better than the full length headers I had on it, although some of the Bolts were pretty hard to get in.

On the collector Flange, I don't use a Gasket at all. The local Muffler shop  owner convinced me to try it several years ago when he heard me complaining about burning out the Gaskets all the time. It works pretty good as long as your flanges are in good shape. The small hairline crack will fill with Carbon within a few days. Too bad it doesn't work on the Block flange. I use stock GM Exhaust gaskets up there instead of the Paper Header gaskets. They seem to last about twice as long.

I use the "donuts" in the collector, but use the Mr,Gasket header gasket at the head,
I have not had to replace them.
When I had the Hedman long tube headers, that would not work so Ised the pricey copper header gasket.

I'm not sure if you thought I was talking about the boots or not, when I mentioned angle plug heads.  I'm going to clarify because some people aren't aware that Chevy makes heads with two different spark plug orientations.  The "straight plug" heads have the spark plug hole drilled 90 degrees to the outer surface of the head.   The "angle plug" heads have the spark plug hole drilled at an angle to provide a better location for the spark plug gap inside the combustion chamber, putting initial combustion closer to the exhaust valve (hotter) which is more effective and makes more power.  It also helps with detonation.

A lot of people already know this but for those that don't, you need to have headers that are made for the spark plug orientation that is on your heads.   There are people still moving to the chevy camp and it's one of those things that might help someone getting adjusted to Chevy's ways.

Good luck with your new headers.  I'm planning on being at HAMB drags again this year so we'll probably meet if you're there.
