DRD57 has a slight mishap on the track today

As most are aware, both Bob K and DRD57, along with HAMB member LoudPedal are competing in Rod and Customs Ego-Rama which has been taking place in Ca.  Today was the final day and took place at a speedway.  In Loudpedals own words.....

"The track was way slick. All of the cars were not getting any traction, and you could hear the tires start to spin as each car hit second gear. Don's first run was a wild ride. As the car shifted to second gear, the car turned to the left. Don was right on top of it steering his coupe the other way. The car went left to right a couple of times and started going side to side. Don's car hit the wall on the right front first and then the back fender did as well. Don is ok and in good sprits. He says * happens". He bent up his front fender and scraped the paint on the rear. The tie rod was bent in the accident and was rubbing on the crank pulley."

Glad Don is OK and the coupe was "repaired" at So Cal later on in the day.

Glad he's OK...The car can be repaired much easier than a fellow Don's age :)  Sounds like they're having fun!

Boy when it comes to the E-go Rama  it seems as if it weren't for bad luck Don would have none at all.  :( Hope it changes for him and soon!
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.

On a good note, Bob's inliner should have tore em up if the track was slick! :lol:

DRD sure has the run of not so good luck  as mentioned.

thankfuly Don always seems to have a possitive attitude of this type of stuff

After looking at the pictures Loud Pedal posted, it looks like Don had a pretty hairy ride there for a few seconds. :shock:  

I see he had slicks and 2-4's.  That motor must be putting out some serious horsepower.  Too bad the track was slippery, it would have been nice to put down a good run.  At least he's ok.  The car can be fixed......again :wink:

He needs to have a talk with that car :mrgreen: SOunds like there some kind of gremlin in there. :twisted:

I was kinda thinking the same thing!!!   Don, glad your ok!!! thats the important thing  :lol:
