two lane blacktop

I was over at an older racing buddys place tonight and as we are talking we mention that one of the cars on his picture wall was in a movie 'bad company ' . He then tells me "look at that one " its a picture of a blown gas altered that he ran in the early 70's . "That one was in two lane black top" . I did not realize that my friend had a very short cameo of him running the car in a drag strip scene of the movie . I am going to watch the movie soon and try to see what part of the movie he is in .

My favorite scene (been a long time) is when the mechanic says to the driver something like I think its the jets... run her flat out for a while

of course the pesky Pontiac is an endearing character.
