Any suggestions for a seat that fits a 1930 Model A pickup?   Have a stock seat in it now and after about an hour or so sitting on it you can hardly move.  Looking for something with more support under the thighs. Too much pressure on the butt as is.  Maybe a 2nd or 3rd seat from a van or something similar.  Can't spring for one of the aftermarket seats, too much $$$.

The older Chrysler and Dodge mini vans have 2 different width back seats. One is around 35" and the other is around 43". Don't trust my memory on the widths. :) I used the wider one in my 32 Ford truck. The back was the correct width but the foam on the bottom had to be tapered at the front. I have not used the narrower unit but I have seen some in T's. I believe these are from the mid to late 90's. I haven't used a newer one.

I used a 90s chrysler mini van middle seat in my T coupe . Mine didn't fold forward so I took the back from another wider one that did and narrowed it to work on mine . Now I have a comfortable seat that folds down to access the space behind the seat 8) . I used a seat track from speedway motors and it works well . Does anyone remember the name of the company that made upholstered seat covers for these seats for hot rods ? I thought I had heard of a place that made hot rod style seat covers for the mini van seats .

1930 A Coupe, Mazda MPV middle seat.  Unbolt track mechanism and fold down side arm.  Install a track, I used a 70s Ford and your good to go.  Slides back and forth for comfort, back tilts back as much as room allows and also tilts forward for access to some storage.
