How many cars have you owned? The first one for me was a 48 Plymouth coupe. The oldest was a 29 Chevrolet. The most of one model was Camaros, I have owned 28, two of them twice. I have also had nine 41 to 48 Chevys, and 21 Novas.

Right now I have 7 here of which 5 are running and driven regularly. I have sold three in the last month. The most I bought at one time was seven, all parts cars. More Chevys than any other makes, and more GM than any other manufacturer.

I don't have an exact count one the total, but it is over 550 since 1961. Every time I try to count them I spend the next couple days remembering others I did not put on the list. The most I had at one time is 22. The longest I have owned one is the 65 Marlin, which I just sold to Shelby with borrow rights LOL. I had it 29 years. I bought two new cars, a 66 Nova L79, and a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSE.

How about you?
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

I think a dozen, excluding kid cars in Dad's name and ones without titles and including wrong wheel drivers. Had four for a short time, tagged and insured. Three currently plus a parts car.

Dang Frank, you have owned more cars at one time than all I have ever owned! 😄I do know if I had the room there would have been many more over the years. I currently own four....and enough parts for one more! 👍

I am above 100. Most of one is 17 mustangs. Most at one time would be 7 not counting cycles at the same time. I have a list that I started decades ago when I thought it might be nice to know what I've had. :)

I own 4 currently, nothing cool.
I have owned 8 that would have been of interest to this group.
My total is probably 35ish.
13 have been new ones.
The last several years my toys have been little pulling tractors. I have 2 3/4 of them.

I'd have no idea the full number of cars we have owned over the years.  I do remember the most in 1 year was 21 we bought , fixed , repaired, parted out or sold.

In early days we tried to buy stuff that could be driven daily with little or no work on them... I usually had a truck and the wife would drive the "fixer".  They would be dependable , just maybe a bit ugly.  There are a couple of cars I still hear about from her now & then.      I would flip them , maybe trade for another car or 2  that needed work.

I've owned two street rods: a '29 Ford roadster and the '32 Ford coupe I have now. Between my wife and me, we have owned 17 cars over the years. My daily drivers have been GM products, mostly Chevy's except for a '73 Olds Cutlass. I drive a 2018 Colorado at the moment. My wife has owned both Impalas and Tauruses. Never owned a Chrysler product. We tend to keep our vehicles for a while rather than trade every three years like some people do.

I have no idea how many I have owned.  They are difficult to separate because I rebuilt wrecks when I was teaching as a second job.  We would often drive one of those rebuilders for some time before I sold it.  I usually did several a year.  I did count the number of motorcycles once and I think it was nearly 100.  I have owned a number of street rods.  Some of them were built from scratch.  Some were unfinished projects that I bought, finished, drove, and sold.  I currently have 3 hot rods.  I have never owned a new car.

We currently own 3 , 2015 Avalon, 2014 chevy truck, 1957 chevy Handyman wagon. Over the years we've had 7 or 8 street rods. My brother & I owned an import repair shop & also rebuilt wrecks for 30 yrs so no way to remember how many cars went thru there. I do remember when we sold the business & cleaned out our files we burnt over 30 VW titles

I usually drive a vehicle until it will no longer operate . I rarely sell a vehicle as I dont enjoy the experience . I have owned 12 drivers in the past 32 years . I still have 5 of them right now . Of the others I have sold 2 , scrapped 5 . For toy cars , I have had 7 and sold 6 of them . I have also had a number of vehicles that were merely parts cars and a couple to build and sell . I currently have 3 trucks that I have owned for 16, 11 , and 9 years . My newest truck is a 2004 that my daughter gave me for my birthday this summer , I was helping her husband fix the rust on it so he could flip it and make a tidy cash score not knowing it would become a present for my birthday.I still have a Drag race roadster chassis that I swapped for to fix and flip , now I will be narrowing a diff for it to make it more saleable .

Daily stuff for us is: 2013 Civic Honda car for the wife. 105k miles.  We plan to drive that car till it   will not move on its own.  If the transmission craps out , I doubt I will attempt a rebuilld.  When that happens , the wife wants a new car.  I indulge her with new cars the last 20 yrs.   I figure she is worth it.

2006 Silverado 1500 for me.  bought in 2005. 114k miles

Goldwing Airbag bike is 2013  with 77k miles.  I will ride it till I can not hold it upright when stopped.

The best I could count was 35 cars and 7 motorcycles. Some were normal use cars and some were bought as junk and never got much higher on the transportation scale. Most have vanished but some one is still around. It's a '48 Dodge pick up that I put a SBC a power glide that I used as a daily driver for years. I got tired of it and I took it out of use long enough to chop the top. By the time it was ready (?) for paint I had lost my interest in it so I sold it and used the money for a down payment on a new truck. The guy that bought it went ahead and finished it. I see it every once in a while at local shows and he always tells people that I built it. The one that I built that vanished and has me wondering was a '53 Studebaker with a DeSoto Hemi, a 9" rear end and a straight axel in the front. With the Jeepster running and driveable  after 28 years I figure that that will be the last project unless it gets replaced by something that I can drive and just tinker with. GPster

200..or close. About 100 cars,50 trucks,30/40 motorcycles. I have driven,insured..usually about 3-4 at a time all year..constantly changing..for the last 50 years. Some I built pretty much from the VIN tag.The last 11 years I have had about 4 insured on the road all the time..purchased 8 and sold 6. Right now..I own and drive 2. No parts cars left. I have 3 garages full of parts. Pretty much every day I get to "live the life"..for several hours. "Live the Life" AS IN..spending time with my collection..sorting/organizing/getting rid of..etc.,
I plan on having the bulk of it done..not far now..before it is too late. Quite a bit of it I still plan on keeping forever.
My better half knows what to do. Call so and so..let him take whatever he wants..the rest to the dump.
Other than out here on the RRT with the guys out here..I don't really know anyone anymore interested in this kind of stuff.
I still do sell stuff..not much anymore. Advertise for what is a fair/reasonable price..if it sells good..if it doesn't I contact my buddy..who takes pretty much EVERYTHING I offer him. I am VERY FORTUNATE FOR THAT!. I don't give stuff away anymore..WAAY more trouble than it is worth. I also don't go looking for stuff for people anymore.

I STILL ENJOY MY TIME WITH CARS/PARTS..AND I SURE HAVE :D Still do most of my own repairs/maintenance. STILL buying too many tools!

An enormous percentage of my stuff was from about 1968 to about 1986. Just a mountain of mid 1970's mid size GM.s
1968 to 1976 F100's..I used to buy,drive/sell these sight unseen. I had a lot of  them. Lots of later 1970's to mid 1980s Full size GM's.

One has to be polite when encountering someone into "X". When one has had 1..or a LOT! of those..

I NEVER paid attention to the numbers..and haven't really since this thread..I got the 150 figure from when a * was being too much of a * and bragging about how many he had..someone tired of this and piped up how many I had had. That was a long time ago..I did a rough count and added about 50 more
