What 11" GM rear end can I rob the brake assembly from to install on a Nova 8.5 rear end?

76 and 77 a and g bodies, malibu and similar use 11" brakes on some models. You can also use full size Chevy backing plates but most of them had a 5" bolt pattern. So you use the intermediate drum with the big car backing plate. There are two drums in both applications 4" and 3 1/4" you have to match the drum width to the backing plate
