Citing finances, Street Machine Nationals discontinues Springfield car show

Although this event was only 75 miles from my home, I quit going to it years ago.  It was a major event in its prime, but it had lost its luster a long time ago.  The year and style of cars did not appeal to me, and the crowd that went with the cars had a different attitude than Goodguys and NSRA events.  Not that those organizations are without flaw either.
