It looks like Florence will hit North or South Carolina this week. Looks like a big storm. Hopefully with this much warning no one will die. If we have any members in that area, please stay safe. My daughter and her family live in Raleigh, and I am worried about them, she says they are "well prepared"....she also said Jim Cantore was already in Wilmington N.C. She said "We are screwed" 😮

The place I work for has operations from just south of Raleigh-Durham to about 80 miles south, basically right where the storm will come through. They're talking about tropical storm level wind in Fayetteville, which is 100 miles off the coast. That's really heavy weather so far inland. Southeast of Fayetteville it gets really flat, and when it floods it floods everywhere, like spilling a glass of water on a tabletop. That happened a year ago and it took days for the water to find its way to the coast.
