My New Years resolution was to get up early and work in the shop. Put a check mark in that box.

The last couple days I've been working at installing a rear pan below the deck lid on the '40 Ford coupe. The car came to me without bumper iron slots but 40's just don't look good without the rear bumper. To the prior guys credit he at least had put a new tool tray in. I had to cut the "new" no slots pan off- more or less a destructive deal and then peel back all the poor repairs around the whole mess. One more slot to cut and then start tacking Have it held on with clecos at the moment and it's gonna pass muster I think.

For some reason, I'm looking forward to this year with great excitement. I have lots planned to do and I can't wait. It almost feels like I just got out of school and I get to start what ever I want!
