Help installing axle

I got a Ford 8 inch rear end that had a leaking axle seal. Pulled the axle, put in new seal. Having a hard time installing the axle back into the tube. I know the gears have to mesh. Any tricks to install axle? thanks, Larry

Obviously you figured it out. You just had to bounce the inner end into the carrier.
