Hi Guys,
I'm new here and I have a few questions about the TH 700-R4 tranny:

1. Where do all the checkballs go and what do they do?
2. What do you do if the TV valve is stuck? How do you remove it?
3. Dexron II or Dexron III?
4. Does anybody have a valve body layout of which valve where does what? And where the heck do you put that lockup switch? I've seen different photos of it in all of the differnt outlets in the rear end of the valve body. Which one is correct?

I hope you can help me out, because my car is a daily driver (that is, at the moment it isn't :-() and I killed the tranny with a wrong TV-Setup, now I have to rebuild it. THX!

Mad,

sometimes a person's ISP / server will block out yahoo accounts.  That may be it.

THe TV valves all MUST be free moving in the bores. If your's is stuck , unstick it.

I use scribes to get valves out. They look like pointy ice picks with a 90* turn on one end.

Hotmail is about as weird.   I can send a hotmail, and send a copy to myself, and it will end up in the junk mail slot. (Maybe hotmail is trying to tell me something?).
