Well, I just couldn't wait for my nephew, I took the left front of the wifes Vue down to the bearing/hub and checked the bearing for play. It seemed fine so I was back to the caliper being seized...again.  I was doubtful I would have three in six months. I suspected the brake hose was collapsed, and it was, I could get no air through the hose, so a new one has that fixed. We drove the car to a relatives open house right after I had changed the hose and all seems well. Then my daughter shows up with her car and tell me the check engine light came on...... :?
