Carnut has been gracious enough to post my pics again. http://georgemcdowell.com/show/14/pbo/pbop1.html
After you have looked them over, feel free to make comments about the diversity of the pics. I have some observations to share in a few days.

Hello;
I just can't get over how many pix you got! Are you on some sort of "wheeled" device cruising around or on "foot"?
I can't see that many cars when I go to a show cause I get plain pooped out!
I really like all the diversity I saw. So many cars, different styles, Some rats, some (what I consider) Show Cars, Some daily duty work horses!!
Looks like a nice place to have a show, some shade trees, some right out in the open!
Great job, coming from a "just can't get away" guy, feel like I was there!

BFS57, I'm a walker. I walked the fairgrounds around 5 times each day. At LA, I walked the fairgrounds once but it took all day. By then I had hamburger feet. In regards to the diversity: the first year of the date change, maybe 20% of entries were newer cars. Now I would guess it's about 40% pre 48. Do you guys see this at all NSRA shows? Did you check out the flathead powered car that I had a pic of the owner next to?

Im really hurt that you didnt get a picture of my A.  Then again it was under the "Swine and Pig" sign next to Schartel the pin striper so I understand it was easy to miss. LOL.

Rergarding the percentage of street rods, my friends and I were discussing that and it seems each year the street rod numbers go down and the newer cars and low riders are increasing.  I would put it at about 35-40% pre 48 this year. Sad.

midnight sun, I know I walked past you 10 times. Had I know another forum member was there, I would have stopped and met you. The area around the striper wasn't conducive to good pics. Too many people watching.

Just Kidding.  You took some great pictures.  I have not been on the forum much.  I have spent the last few years taking care of my mother who had Alzheimers.  She passed last September.

Anyway enjoyed the show although, as I said, sad to see the street rods going down in number and the newer cars and low riders increasing.

Crosley.In.AZ

oldest vehicle I own is 1948.

Early 60's is the largest age group of cars I have kept.  3 cars = 2 of 1962 , one is 1961

1959 Triumph being the odd ball only 50's car in the group

What is that event year cut off now?  1975 ?

That would make more sense but no its a 30 year backup so this year 1984 was the cut off.  IMHO that is ridiculous.
