I have this late 50s or early 60s Sears utility trailer that every time the wheels need to be removed the bearings will have to be disturbed so I want to mount hubs with studs so I wont have to mess with the bearings when the tires are removed,so what do I need to do to get hubs that will work.

I just did this conversion using bearing and hub assemblies for a SN 95 Mustang. No reason you couldn't use most any late model sealed bearing and hub assembly.

Pulled the wheels off today and the axle shafts are 3/4,I can find hubs with bearings for 1 inch and larger axles. Was just going to put new tires and tubes but one of the rims are shot so I might have to come up with another axle that is 1 inch, being it was sold by Sears I am not suprised the axle is a smaller diameter since Sears wanted some things different so you had to come back to them for parts.

I used a tubing spacer to get to the inner bearing size on the axle I did.
