The blurbs on the website are all optimistic about how the world is just waiting to buy a premium priced, distinctive American made car but the prototype was made in 1999 with convertible and coupe variants contemplated.   Is that the only one they ever made?  Personally I probably won't bid on it. :wink:

The manufacture date shows a little, especially in the interior. It was a very ambitious project, though.

I did a little nosing around in Google, and it looks to me as if the proposition never took wings.  It was a beautiful concept, and I thought that engine was pretty slick, but I doubt there is much of a true market for that type of a lux-mobile in the USA today.  

The old Packard plant ruins in Detroit have been purchased by a Peruvian investor with an eye to redevelopment.
Rrumbler - Older, grouchier, broken; but not completely dead, yet.
