Arkansas Annual Rod Run

The Arkansas Street Rod Association annual Rod Run is Oct 1-3 at Degray Lake Resort State Park, Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  It'll be a great gathering of street rodders in a beautiful setting.  Includes games, NSRA safety inspections, lunch, prizes, and lottsa great family fun including stuff for the kids.  Saturday night features a casino nite & auction with each entrant getting $210,000 in casino money.  Pre-registration is $20 by 9/15 and $30 after.  Degray Lake Lodge and other local hotels offer special rates for rodders.  I can fax or mail a registration form to anyone interested.  Hope to see some RRT folks there.    Cal

And then there is Crusing For The Cure, 17-18 Sep in North Little Rock and the Wheelin' and Healing Car Show 25 Sep in Little Rock's Maumelle Park.

I no longer register in advance.  I am a hard corps roadster kind of guy.  But if the weather man says "rain" I stay home.  Odds are it is better to pay a little more on the day of the show than a little less and get weathered out.

With a little luck I will make one of the three.  But which one is up in the air.  
If you see a black 32 with "Hot Stuff" on the cowel come over and say "HI."

Okay Steve, I'll be at Cruisin' For The Cure ...splitting time between the street rods and Joyce who has entered her Boxster.  And the Rod Run is really a nice event.  Maybe I'll see you at one of them.
