Bending a sway bar

Can you heat and bend one of these or is this a no no?

Bend the arms, or in the middle ?

I bend, cut and weld the ends quite often. Haven't broken any yet.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying. "Wow...that was fun!"

To move the ends in or out I usually notch it deep enough to be able to bend it, bevel the notch and weld it back together, dress the welds and paint it.

Don, the ends of the front sway bar on my cpe were cut and bent. I've got 89,000 mi on it without a problem
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.
